#Forging.

I think that’s what everyone who builds a website is doing – we’re crafting something out of some bits of raw material to say, sell, help, or gather *something*. We’re makers. We’re making friends, building roads, and constructing these digital bridges to each other (social platforms), to access information (help and Q&A sites), and to cultivate new markets. That’s awesome. That’s what I want to help with. That’s why I became a WordPress developer.

I don’t get to “zoom out” a lot once I start working on a project (I limit myself to no more than 2 Codeable projects at a time) because I love to really dive in. I want to know the mission statement or the vision of your project so I can build towards it. I want to know why you felt passionate enough to go find yourself a Codeable developer. I want to know your ambitions, goals, and who is pulling for your success. In short, I want to know you and your team.

Because endeavors are people-powered – and *this* endeavor that we’re no doubt in the workroom chatting about (I apologize if I’m about to send too many questions – I promise it’s just because I want to understand!) is, at the heart of it, powered by you. Awesome, talented, incredible – you.

So let’s start there.

Let’s start with you, and then work our way to that awesome idea of yours and figure out whatever you need to forge.

#Personal
Wow, I’m honored you read this far 🙂
I love God, my family, and coffee though, and as much as it pains me to admit it, sometimes not in that order. I’m also into blues piano, but don’t expect a single anytime soon 😉

I’m part of a team has been designing and coding websites and custom solutions to help customers achieve their goals for over 20 years. We’ve specialized in WordPress exclusively since 2014.

Our recent accomplishments:
• Gig-Economy Brand, Website, and App: We helped a client bring a WordPress website and mobile app to life in 6 months to help them connect technicians to in-home assembly jobs. Then upon launch we supported its growth and development with 10 minor releases, and 1 major release over a year. Eventually this client was able to leverage their technological edge & labor base to sell their company to a much larger competitor.
• Bus Tour Brochure Website: We took a client’s 100+ page brochure, broke it down into its parts, and were able to create a website for them to display their tours online. It included a custom tour builder that made it quick & easy to turn their brochure into online listings that were SEO optimized.
• Divi: We’ve created 80+ custom sites with this page builder, and customized it extensively to meet client needs.

Our strengths:
• PSD / Custom Theme to Divi Builder: We have extensive experience turning website sketches and custom / hand-coded themes into Divi sites that you can edit on your own with Divi’s page builder.
• Data Scraping / Reprocessing & Migration: If you have an existing site that you can’t pull data out of, or need to update your data before importing it to a new site, we can help automate that!
• Integrations: We’ve tied websites into custom product databases, real estate MLS’, motorcycle dealer sites, and more.
• Search Engine Optimization: SEO isn’t one & done – it’s a series of decisions you make every time you publish content, change your website, or deploy a new feature. Our team hold certifications in keyword research, technical, and local SEO. Our plugins & custom code consider technical SEO factors. Our website designs include local or general SEO optimization when appropriate.

I’ve been building websites since the late nineties. I began working with WordPress around 2005 with personal sites, and have since worked many jobs which either focused on WordPress, or worked in part with WordPress. I’ve worked with nearly every aspect of WordPress core functionality at some time, including theme development, plugin development, multi-site setups, installation, site migrations from one host to another, and data migrations from other content management systems to WordPress, and vice versa.

I also have a lot of PHP experience outside of WordPress development, including Laravel, Drupal, and other frameworks.

I am Milan, a WordPress developer from Serbia. I started with WordPress in 2007, creating few free plugins. My early plugins over time grew in popularity, and I started working as a freelancer on WordPress-based projects. Since 2009 I am working exclusively with WordPress.

WordPress allowed me to use all my knowledge of PHP and database analytics, which pushed me to learn more and evolve as a developer, to incorporate new PHP features into my work. It also enabled me to work on many amazing plugins and help tens of thousands of WordPress users make their websites better, secure, or faster.

I joined Codeable because I wanted to challenge myself to work on new projects and be a part of the community of best WordPress developers from the whole world.

I have created 50+ premium/commercial plugins sold through my website Dev4Press.com and over at CodeCanyon.net, 20+ free plugins available at WordPress.org (not all of them are still available).

Over the past 12 years, I have developed over 100 plugins for various clients, from simple single-feature plugins to complex plugins used to drive whole websites in many cases along with the custom-developed themes.

Since 2012, I have developed many plugins for expanding the bbPress powered forums with new features usually found in the specialized standalone forum software. I have developed a plugin to completely change the way the forum looks, using modern responsive design and giving a lot of power to end users to configure the forums through WordPress Customizer.

I’ve been infatuated with computers and programming since the late 90s. I started with BASIC and found PHP in the early 2000s, learning C and C++ along the way. I’m a problem solver at heart, I thoroughly enjoy taking difficult tasks, unpacking them, and finding solutions that are practical and efficient.

I’m also a small-time venture investor, technology startup mentor, ultrarunner and a long-distance running coach in my spare time.

As an active member of the WordPress community since 2012, I’m involved in all levels of the project, be it contributing to the WordPress software, organizing and speaking and WordPress events, or building open-source plugins.

If you have a difficult WordPress problem, and you want someone who will work with you to solve it, you’ve come to the right person.

Originally from England, I launched my first website in 2002 & I’ve been working with WordPress since 2003, before it was even named “WordPress”! (it used to be called “B2”). I can safely say that I’m a total guru when it comes to WordPress!

Client satisfaction is important to me. Not only that, but I thrive on building long term relationships with my clients. Clients have always found me fair & professional, which is why some have been with me since I was 12 years old.

In my time as a developer, I have worked with clients big & small, from mom-and-dad bake shops to multi-billion dollar groups such as Unilever (who owns brands such as Klondike, St Ives, etc etc) & Coca Cola. I’ve built web applications for Fortune-500 companies & leading edge wall street businesses such as Option Alpha. I’m capable of integrating with any API & building custom plugins or sites for you around them.

I have a rule when it comes to WordPress ; if you want it, lets do it; simple as that. There is not a single request that I’ve not been able to accommodate in WordPress or otherwise.

I go above & beyond what my clients expect from me. Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions/concerns. I’m here for you! I look forward to working with you.

>> About Me <<

I'm a full time single dad for my son Elijah who was born 8/14/21. After spending most of the last 18 months living near Flathead Lake in MT, we just relocated back to Billings, MT where my son was originally born & where we have more of a support circle.

I'm well-traveled; I originally moved to Europe from the UK in 2008 & have since lived in 7 countries & visited over 30 countries in total. In 2016 I spent 6 weeks in Africa contributing to charity projects & speaking at schools about how IT/programming could provide a valuable income source/career to future students.

Outside of development, I'm a photographer & gamer! I love vehicles & currently own a 2023 F-150 Raptor. A 2024 Mustang is on my wish-list for later this year!
